Rochester, MN Parks - Parkwood Hills

People mover being cranked on the right side.

Climbing corner with a fire pole. Sliders(above) were very difficult to move.
Very different playground with a people mover platform powered by kids (or adults). Not a ton to do at this one, but they kept going back and forth taking turns moving each other. Gorgeous park surrounding with walking paths. There is a port-a-potty located at the parking lot.

Rochester, MN Parks - Stonehedge Estates

Top ten park.

2-5 year old area with sandbox and digger to the right.

4 neat bouncers here...firetruck was my son's favorite, but they also had 2 colorful animals and a double bouncy teeter-totter.

Infinity climber, lily pads, balance beam in the back...very nice playground.

Rochester, MN Parks- Northern Heights East

Not a very colorful playground, but there were a few fun items here: tic-tac-toe, tire swing and a digger for the sand.

Very quiet park located near condos/town-homes.

Plenty of room around the tire swing.

Rochester, MN Parks - Emerald Hills

Emerald Hills Park-located near Century High School- 2787 Cassidy Drive NE Rochester, MN 55906
2-5 year old area. Sandbox just behind to the right (trucks left here for kids to play with), very fine sand.

Triple slide, multiple climbing apparatuses, swirl slide and steering wheels to keep the kids busy.

They didn't want to leave this park.

Rochester, MN Parks - Century Hills

The kids really enjoyed this park. Unique items here: crow's nest towers and a rock wall with chain to climb up.

Younger kids' play area.

Here's the rock wall with chain. On the right side are teeter-totters.

You can see one of the two crow's nests on the right side of this photo.

Rochester, MN Parks- Badger Hills

This is a neighborhood park located at 4423 35th St. NW - no restrooms available here.
They liked the balance beam the best at this park.

They did not like this set of monkey bars--hurt their hands so much they couldn't use the other set of monkey bars either.

2-5 year old area-my son liked climbing these steps and scooting down the left side.

Other side of 2-5 year old area-bug climbing wall.

Rochester, MN Parks - Badger Ridge

3016 Monroe Drive NW-there is a soccer field here and lots of parking on Superior Drive. No restroom facilities here.
The kids liked hiding under the dinosaur.

The kids really liked the bouncy car (middle right side), the monkey bars and rock climbing wall here.

Rochester, MN Parks - Wedgewood Hills

Neighborhood park-no restroom facilities nearby.
5117 52nd Avenue NW Rochester, MN 55901

Lots to do...they like the tunnels, spinning barrel, moving lily pads, balance beam and parallel bars at this playground.

Ball court

2-5 year old section.

This was a busy playground...there were about 15-20 kids there while we were there.

Rochester, MN Parks - Lincolnshire

Neighborhood park located by soccer fields and a baseball field. There is one port-a-potty located near the basketball hoop in the parking lot (not near playground). In winter they have a skating rink here.
5276 Members Parkway NW Rochester, MN 55901

This is the 2-5 year old area.
Back of the 2-5 year old area.

This playground has several unique climbing features like a waterfall, spiderweb, funnel web, rock climbing holds and more. I like the fact that it has a little bit of shade from the umbrella on the top of the 5-12 year old area.

Rochester, MN Parks - Arbor Glen

This park is located in an easier access area, has 2 distinct play areas and kept the kids busy with different options, however there was not a port-a-potty or restroom available at this park.

Swings, triple slide and monkey bars on pea gravel.

Rope climbing wall, bridge and fort kept them busy for a long time. They did not want to leave this park.

The kids loved this teeter totter and the bouncy airplane and dinosaur.

Rochester, MN Parks - Schmidt Park

This is another neighborhood park and does not have any restrooms or port-a-pottys nearby. The hill at this park is used for sledding in the winter.

This play area was marked for 2-12 year olds. There are 2 baby swings available in this area.

The other side of the 2-12 year old area.

5-12 year old area. The kids really enjoyed hiding in the long tan tunnel.

Rochester, MN Parks - Ridge View Manor

This is a neighborhood park-it does not have a restroom or port-a-potty available. There are entrances from Florence Dr. and Ridgeview Dr. There is not a sign indicating the name anywhere.
